Order-specific service
Long poles, machines and palletised orders may need a different courier or delivery format.
Check / quote first
Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland and some other destinations may need a quote or different service.
The £100 free-delivery threshold is VAT inclusive. Some long, heavy, remote or non-mainland orders may need a different service or quote.
Fulfilment
The carrier and delivery format depend on the size, weight, length and combination of products in the order.
Small orders
Smaller items may travel by Royal Mail or parcel courier depending on the size and contents of the order.
Systems & parcels
Systems and medium parcels are normally sent by courier. A working mobile number is required so the carrier can send delivery updates.
Long / pallet
Bulky equipment - including complete systems, standalone gutter vacuums, large generators and pressure washers - is normally sent by pallet. Poles are not normally sent by pallet when ordered separately and will use the appropriate long-item courier service. Where poles form part of a larger palletised order, the complete order may be delivered together on the pallet.
Delivery is usually 1–2 working days after we have completed your order. Please allow up to 7 working days for any delays through carrier networks.
Large & long orders
A little preparation helps long poles, machines and palletised goods arrive more smoothly.
Confirm the delivery address, postcode and a working telephone number before checkout.
For large goods, consider gates, restricted access and whether a pallet or long-item vehicle can reach the delivery point.
Check courier or tracking messages and keep someone available where a signature or arranged delivery is required.
If the equipment is needed by a fixed date, contact GVS before ordering rather than relying on an estimated delivery window.
Restricted access, remote address or delivery deadline? Ask before ordering.
