Our Story
Before GVS supplied professional equipment, the experience came from doing the work first-hand.
Aquafed Begins
In 2008, Mark Blundell established Aquafed, providing window cleaning, pressure washing and gutter clearing services. That hands-on work built first-hand experience of access, working height, equipment compatibility and the realities of using kit day after day.
By 2011, Gutter Vacuum Systems was developing as a specialist equipment business shaped by that practical experience. Gutter Vacuum Systems Ltd was later incorporated on 19 October 2017, formalising the business as it continued to expand its gutter vacuum systems, pole systems and wider professional exterior-cleaning range.
How GVS Works

GVS grew from exterior-cleaning work. That practical experience continues to influence how equipment is assessed, developed and supported.

Where it all started
Mark Blundell establishes Aquafed, working across window cleaning, pressure washing and gutter clearing.
This first-hand experience of the equipment, access challenges and demands of daily exterior-cleaning work would later provide the foundation for Gutter Vacuum Systems.
Experience Becomes Innovation
After identifying the limitations of the gutter vacuum systems available, Mark develops and tests his own equipment around the practical demands of professional gutter clearing.
This marks the beginning of Gutter Vacuum Systems and its continued drive to develop equipment that performs where it matters - on the job.
In 2017, Gutter Vacuum Systems was officially rebranded under the identity we know today, marking the next stage in the development of the specialist GVS equipment range.
Lightweight Aluminium Poles
GVS develops its aerospace aluminium gutter vacuum poles around a clear objective: reduce the weight professionals handle at height while retaining the strength required for demanding gutter-clearing work.
With a complete 20ft setup weighing under 5kg, individual sections weighing approximately 535g and quick-release clamps for faster setup, the system introduced a lighter and more efficient way to work.
GVS launches the Predator, introducing a powerful triple-motor gutter vacuum developed to take on demanding residential and commercial gutter-clearing work.
Built for operators who need high airflow, dependable suction and the confidence to tackle difficult blockages, the Predator becomes a defining system within the GVS professional range.
GVS launches the original 1400W Panther, a compact wet and dry gutter vacuum developed for everyday residential clears, restricted-access properties and professional vehicles where space is limited.
Lightweight, powerful and available with different pole configurations, the Panther gives operators a practical alternative for jobs where a larger industrial system cannot easily reach.
51mm Clamped Carbon-Fibre Poles
GVS expands its high-reach range with the introduction of 51mm clamped carbon-fibre gutter vacuum poles.
Developed to combine lightweight handling with greater rigidity, control and secure clamped connections, the range continues the evolution of the complete GVS pole system.
Roof Equipment
GVS expanded into professional roof scraping equipment, developing specialist accessories and telescopic pole solutions designed to make roof maintenance more practical from the ground.
Window Cleaning Expansion
Our range continued to grow with the introduction of professional water-fed window cleaning poles, building on the experience that began with Aquafed.
51mm Carbon-Fibre Rigid Neck
GVS expands its 51mm carbon-fibre system with a new rigid neck, developed to provide increased control and rigidity for demanding gutter-clearing tasks.
Designed to work with GVS 51mm clamped poles and nozzles, the addition demonstrates the continued development of the complete professional pole system.
THE ULTIMATE POWERHOUSE
GVS launches the Phantom, an all-terrain 3600W gutter vacuum developed specifically for demanding commercial and industrial gutter-clearing work.
Combining high airflow, substantial capacity and a heavy-duty tipping frame, the Phantom marks another major step forward for the GVS professional range.

Building on the window-cleaning experience behind Aquafed, GVS expanded its professional window-cleaning range with brushes, hoses, fittings, accessories and complete packages.
This marked an important expansion of the wider GVS equipment range while strengthening the company’s connection to its exterior-cleaning roots.
Petrol-Powered Independence
In 2026, GVS launched the Destroyer petrol gutter vacuum, giving professional operators a powerful mains-free option for demanding gutter clearing work.
ADVANCED POLE DEVELOPMENT
GVS continued to push pole development forward with the launch of anti-conductive gutter vacuum poles and new Kevlar water-fed and gutter vacuum pole ranges.
